Fire Ravages home on Chase avenue |

El Cajon, California Just before 10PM tonight Heartland Fire Dispatch received multiple calls from residents in the 1500 Block of Chase Ave. area about a house on fire and several explosions. The first units arrived less then ten minutes after dispatch to a fully involved single family home, immediately making an aggressive attack and attempting to hold the fire to the structure. Several large explosions occurred while firefighters were attempting to extinguish the flames. The explosions were believed to be propane tanks. According to Battalion Chief Ranalli the fire is under investigation at this time and no damage amount has been accessed.
