Firefighters work for two hours to free the trapped operator of this crane that toppled over during a K rail moving project for construction work on the I-15. The CHP closed all but one lane of NB 15 as units from San Diego, Poway and Miramar fire departments responded with rescue equipment to assist in the massive extrication job. The operators leg was trapped in such a way that the rescuers had to work under crane at times between two of the concrete K rails. The operator was removed with leg injuries and possible internal injuries.
