Pagosa Second Alarm |

Lakeside, CA Shortly after midnight a fire broke out on Pagosa Lane in Lakeside. The first units on scene found the single family home fully involved and quickly ordered a second alarm to help combat the fire and protect surrounding hillside and structures. An additional 2 engines were called responding from as far as La Mesa and Lemon Grove to help fight the fire. Homeowners stated that the fire started in the Christmas tree they had. However Sheriffs Bomb / Arson was on scene conducting an investigation into the exact cause. The fire displaced four of occupants of the home and sent two adults to the a local hospital for second degree burns to their hands.
