A fire in Baja California ripped across the southern California border today burning 2000 acres combined on both sides of the border. The current estimate is 1100 acres on the California side with the loss of one unoccupied structure and 1 minor firefighter injury. Crews from all over southern California including riverside county battled the flames saving several structures and areas.
