Lakeside, CA  (Borona Indian Reservation) During the 2^nd annual county wild land preparedness drill, firefighters from around the county representing Heartland, North County, Escondido, South Bay, Federal, Miramar, CDF, Forest Service, Fish & Game and San Diego City Fire departments. 

 During the three-day drill the agencies will practice several critical drills ranging from fire shelter drills and hose lays to helicopter safety and public relations.  Several fire fighters stated they were happy to have the chance to drill and train with other departments in learning these vital skills.  In addition represent ivies from the local electric and telephone companies briefed fire fighters on proper procedures for downed lines.
