May 16, 2004 Lakeside, CA At about 8:45 AM a Toyota Celica driven by a Lakeside resident south bound on Hwy 67 traveled across the center divide spun and rolled into north bound lanes.  Unable to stop the driver of the Honda collided with the Toyota and the driver of the Celica was ejected onto the freeway despite wearing a seat belt.  After the driver of the Honda was extricated she was transported by Mercy air to Sharp Memorial for major injuries, the drive of the 2^nd car was also transported by ground to Sharp for major injuries sustained in the collision.
